The Journey

One road. Thirty chapters.
A whole language.

Lumo's map isn't a menu of lessons — it's a single winding road from a small harbor village up to a tower in the mountains. Walk it, and the language walks with you.

How the map works

The map is the curriculum

Each region of the world is a CEFR level. Each stop on the road is a chapter — a real place with real people, a small quest, and the exact language you need to get through it.

  • A1 — The Harbor Village (Ch. 1–5). First words by the sea: the café, meeting Luka, the road to the lighthouse, the morning market, the guesthouse.
  • A2 — The Coast Road (Ch. 6–10). The bus to Budva, a day at the beach, a lost bag, the old master's garden, the turn to the lake.
  • B1–B2 — Lakes & Highlands (Ch. 11–20). Longer stories, faster conversations, real opinions — the language starts to feel like yours.
  • C1–C2 — The Mountain Road (Ch. 21–30). Nuance, humor, idioms. The tower at the top is waiting for those who finish the story.

Inside a chapter

What one stop on the road holds

A living scene

A place on the coast rendered like a storybook — with characters who greet you, tasks to complete, and secrets to find by tapping around.

Phrases to speak & write

Each chapter tracks what you've spoken aloud and what you've written. Master both to truly complete the chapter — not just tap through it.

A unique reward

Finish everything and collect the chapter's keepsake — each one hand-crafted for its place in the story. Your shelf of rewards is your progress bar.

“You don't remember lesson 14.
You remember the day you helped Ana find her lost bag.”
— Why stories beat lessons

The village at the start of the road
is expecting you.

Chapter one begins at a café by the sea. All you need is one phrase — and Lumo will teach you that.
